.Mirrored.

My current obsession is Mirrored Furniture. It's classic, elegant and timeless. Mirrored furniture can add chicness to any room. I'm currently wanting mirrored bedside tables && console table. Unfortunately they are going to have to wait until this winter because I have quite a bit on my must purchase list as of right now.. Posted below are some pictures of elegant mirrored pieces.

The City

This coming Fall I'm taking a trip to New York City with my love. I love to travel && unfortunately last year I did not get a chance to take my yearly vacation. So this trip is much needed && waay over due!

I'm pretty sure I'll spend most of my mornings in Central Park with a cup of coffee in hand while I read a book &&/or people watch...There are many of things to keep me immersed in the City. I'm exhilarated about this trip but I'm pretty sure once I'm there that I'm not going to want to come back to Texas. Which is fine with me. NYC would be a perfect place to open up my boutique.. Hmm...

Music for the soul

I don't know about you all but music is my cure-all.  So, I wanted to share a few of my favorites of the moment..

It's amaazing how one person can walk into your life && change everything (for the better)

I'm absolutely, positively, head over heels for Mr. J.Dunn. I'm Happy, happily in love with a man who adores me. As cheesy as it may sound.. he takes my breath away && leaves me speechless - literally. 

Long distant relationships are no walk in the park but LOVE can conquer anything, I believe. In just 2 short months the love of my life will be back here in "Dallas" permanently . Then it's onto traveling the US this time next year.. Open Road, RV, Gigs && of course Bella love. Bring on the adventures!!

My second home.

Four years ago I made my first trip out to LA && I fell in love. The city has definitely captured my heart. I could go on and on about the reasons why I'm in love - from the easy going laid back people,beautiful beaches,cozy lo-key restaurants, the fashion,the love that the locals have for their own city and to the fabulous weather year round.

I always feel right at home while I'm visiting. For now, LA is my second home. But one day I plan on making LA my home && referring to Texas just as a place I visit.

I've had the documentary- The Cove saved on my dvr for quit some time now && I decided to watch it tonight. I must say the film is horrifying. It has left me speechless..
I'm a PETA activist that's trying to educate/inform others on what is going on in the world. I stand up for what I believe in && I do believe that animals should NOT be tested on nor tortured for human's guilty pleasures such as food,clothing or even entertainment.

Trends for Spring 2011

I can definitely say that I'm not disappointed about the Spring 2011 Trend Report. I have chosen a few styles that I'm in absolute aw about to share with you all.

 Hopefully this dreadful (cold) Texas weather will pass soon so I CAN break out the trends for spring.

Due to the dreadful winter storm in Dallas, I'm stuck in the house for the day. I'm not complaining though, I'll take a day off from work to sip hot tea by the fireplace any day. My cozy day off from work has inspired me to write my next best blog. Below are some fabulous chic working && non functional fireplaces in some of the most alluring interiors.

The time sure does fly by.. In two months I will be moving into my new place. I'm thrilled!! It's a new space to decorate. I'm wanting to change up the living room && bedroom completely. I'm thinking white sofas with black,grey,turquoise and maybe yellow for the accent colors.As for the bedroom I'm thinking all white with a pop of some color.I'm leaning towards a modern chic look.I will be sure to post pictures of the finished space at my new place..

Set aside her nefarious deportment on MTV's The City, OLIVIA PALERMO is someone I adore. Her style is amazing.


She was featured in the January issue of Vogue Spain. In the spread she reveals that she is going to have her own reality show that captures the launching of her own line. && I'm ecstatic!! I cannot wait to see what her collection entails..
